The Collective

Frequent collaborators and close friends, Samantha Ressler and Nathalie Love co-founded We the Women to create a safe and nurturing community for women in the arts and entertainment to share their voice and nurture their creativity.

They are thrilled to be producing and acting in We the Women’s first ever debut production of Women of Manhattan by John Patrick Shanley and hope to workshop new and existing material from this point forward. Feel free to submit work here.


Samantha Ressler

Actor / Producer & Co-Founder of we the women - "JUDY"

Samantha Ressler is an LA native and graduate of Brown University. She attended the Atlantic Acting School & London Dramatic Academy in addition to the conservatory training she received at Brown. As a creator of content, Sam created, wrote, starred in and produced "That's What She Said" which was acquired by Conde Nast Entertainment and released recently on their original channel, The Scene. She created and co-directed a short form documentary for Vice called "Strange Love." As an actress, she recently completed a run of "Blackbird" in the lead role of 'Una' at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in addition to "Closer" at The Ruby Theatre in Hollywood playing ‘Alice.’ Her Film and TV credits can be found here

As a human and woman, she is thrilled to launch her passion project “We The Women” and hopes to do many more events like this in the future.



Nathalie Love

actor / producer & Co-Founder of we the women- "BILLIE"

Nathalie Love is a woman and actress. She hopes to keep exploring and growing as a person, as an actress and believes that art is the path towards hope and healing. She looks forward to continuing to create in the future with collaborations like this one.

Nathalie was most recently seen in the feature film 20TH CENTURY WOMEN alongside Elle Fanning and Annette Bening. Her film SOUTHBOUND premiered at Toronto International Film Festival and AFI in 2015. Conde Nast entertainment just bought her digital series, THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID, which Nathalie starred and produced with friend, collaborator and co star in this production of Woman of Manhattan - Samantha Ressler.  For additional credits go to here.

Ashley Khakshouri


Ashley Khakshouri is an LA native who graduated from UCLA with majors in English, French and Theater. She has also studied Baron/Brown Studio’s two-year Meisner program and the Alexander Technique with mentor, Michael D. Frederick. As a part of The Broadway Theatre Group, she is passionate about fulfilling her grandfather’s vision of restoring Broadway in Downtown Los Angeles to its historical glory as the city center of entertainment, art and culture. Ashley is determined to revive Broadway’s theaters for the enjoyment of the community and future generations. She will be producing John Patrick Shanley’s Women of Manhattan.


Victoria Fayad


Victoria Fayad, daughter of a Lebanese immigrant and macrobiotic chef, was born and raised in Los Angeles. She is a freelance creative with experience in fashion, film, graphic design, and just about anything else you can throw at her. Making time for adventures helps keep her inspired (and sane). She lives in Echo Park with her boyfriend Evan and their newly rescued Dutch shepherd Dagny. 

Victoria is honored to be working with such an incredible team of human beings, all coming together to join forces for such an important cause.

Jackie Shea

Actor / producer - "Rhonda Louise"

Jackie Shea: Actress/Writer/Wellness Advocate - NYC native, graduate of conservatory program at LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts with major in drama in addition to William Esper's  two year Meisner technique intensive. Jackie has appeared in many stage productions including "Sylvia," "The Pomo Sex Romp,"  "Romeo and Juliet," and "The Laramie Project."   Film credits include "Half Magic," "The Hike," and "Lori Sheedy, F*** You." She has filmed two pilots, "The IP Section," and "Diary of a Henchman," and many commercials and print campaigns. As a writer, Jackie focuses on reaching those suffering from trauma and chronic illness based on her own life experiences. Her monthly health column,  is featured on, and she writes weekly on Too Sick and Naked, a prequel to her one woman show. Her company, Wellness Companions, is very active in helping young women suffering from illness around the world. Jackie is ecstatic to be a part of this project surrounded by such talent, passion, and the will to help others.


Dakota Solt


Dakota Solt is a fashion designer and painter from LA. She graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design and also attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. She co-founded a clothing line and curated concept store called CRYBABY Presents and since then has worked for fashion brands Nasty Gal and &Other Stories. Recently Dakota has been pursuing her fine arts in the series titled FORM + COLOR, and freelancing as a fashion design consultant and art director under her creative agency, Roster. Dakota made the We The Women website and is also participating as a featured artist in the We The Women art exhibit.

Laura Watters

Laura Watters is a Los Angeles native by way of San Francisco. She graduated from The George Washington University in Washington D.C. and attended American University of Paris with a dual degree in Art History and Fine Arts. After graduating she moved to New York City to pursue a career in fashion, working for numerous publications and stylists. Following her time in New York, she returned home to go back to school at Otis College of Art and Design. She currently works in a variety of mediums out of her studio located in Culver City. She has curated "Oh, there's no alternative" at Hou Yee Chan Gallery and "Anxiety" at HVW8 Gallery in the last year. As curator of the "We the Women" art exhibit she's extremely excited to showcase the work of many intelligent, and talented women who are sadly under represented in the male driven art world, while also raising money and awareness for Planned Parenthood.


Allyson Fore


The Spare Room Off-Site, brain child of hospitality entrepreneurs, Marc Rose and Med Abrous, provides a better craft cocktail experience for LA's weddings, galas, private party's and more. Run by Allyson Fore, Northern California native and experiential marketing connoisseur. Allyson joins this legendary catering team from The Hollywood Roosevelt and Stanford Alumni Association.



Nikki Pettus Hartrampf


Nikki Pettus is a Jane of all trades residing in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Her mouth can be seen in the most recent ad campaign for Burt's Bees, and she has also found joy in the world of florals and calligraphy- she designs custom wedding ephemera and other cool paper goods, and flowers with NYC greats like Putnam and Putnam and Tin Can Studios. Recently Nikki hosted a lettering workshop at the Springs, and she can't wait to do it again soon! She can usually be found wearing paint-covered overalls and a smile :)


Allie Teilz

Sound design

Allie Teilz is a Los Angeles based DJ known for her eclectic taste in music, skills behind the turntables, and style in front of them.  Allie added designer to her life's line-up after launching her eponymous brand of suits, ALLIE TEILZ, for the Winter 2016 season.

Allie’s love for music and fashion has been intertwined from the jump. Growing up in Arizona, she was immediately drawn to worldwide culture through music as a form of belonging and inspiration. David Bowie, The Cure, Grace Jones, The Pixies, and The Talking Heads are a few of the heroes that have helped shape her individuality.
